Justyna is a skilled Associate based in the Byfields Perth office. With a background of growing up on a small potato farm in Poland, she has gained firsthand appreciation for the hard work and dedication of primary producers.
After completing her initial degree in Krakow, Justyna embarked on a journey to Scotland, where she worked, studied, and explored. In 2014, she earned a post-graduate degree in Chartered Accounting. Justyna's strong connection to WA agribusiness led her to work at RSM Northam before joining the farming team at Byfields Perth in 2019.
In addition to her role at Byfields, Justyna also serves as a part-time lecturer at Curtin University, where she teaches accounting to agribusiness students at Muresk. This experience inspired her to create tax workshops at Byfields, helping junior and intermediate accountants develop practical skills in solving complex tax matters.
Justyna actively participates in various projects and initiatives. As a member of the Byfields Innovation Committee, she contributes to researching and implementing modern software and technology solutions within the firm.
When it comes to her clients, Justyna is committed to providing comprehensive assistance, ranging from cloud accounting and business structuring to intricate capital gain tax calculations. Her primary focus is on educating clients, enabling them to make well-informed decisions that best suit their farming businesses. Justyna values personal development and often gains invaluable knowledge from clients who generously share their stories.
Outside of work, Justyna finds joy in traveling, having explored 38 countries and counting. She also embraces an outdoor lifestyle and has a passion for ballroom dancing. Interestingly, her husband prefers joining her on the dance floor for peace of mind rather than for a love of dancing.
